I think we're at the point where our meetup network is sophisticated enough to field a single congressional candidate in every state. How do we engineer that?
1. Meetup leaders for each state coordinate a statewide conference
2. At that conference, individuals nomination meetup members who would make the best candidate (based on electability, prior electoral experience, experience as a leader in their community, their speaking ability, etc). A single candidate is chosen (or in large/pro-revolution states multiple candidates) to run for the office.
3. The meetups then form a network and plan to rally/donate/organize behind the candidate.
4. The conference ends and the campaign begins.
