Was looking at Google News awhile ago and saw a NYT story with this text

Romney Wins Mackinac Straw Poll

Ron Paul and Rudolph W. Giuliani tied for third, with almost 11 percent each. And Fred Thompson took 7 percent. Mike Huckabee got less than 3 percent of the ...

Comments in the story point out this tie innaccuracy...

now the story says this...
Ron Paul had 10.8 percent and Rudolph W. Giuliani was close behind with 10.62 percent. And Fred Thompson took 7 percent.

Did they change it? If so, good job!

What the hell were they thinking? Did they report that Gore and Bush tied in 2000? Why in the world would someone say that 2 candidates tied just because it was close?

We got the St. Louis Post-Dispatch to add Ron Paul to an Associated Press article that left him out on healthcare of all things!

Iif your local newspaper carries stuff from the AP, I would still contact them and point out their ommissions or inaccuracies. Its doubtfull that the AP will correct their story though.
