Audio book by the great Marine. Anything this guy may have done in the past was redeemed by his actions in warning the US against the MIC. IMO.

I don't believe Butler has ever been accused of anything dishonorable so what do you mean by "done in the past"?

He was approached by a fascist cabal seeking to overthrow the legally elected government by leading a military coup. He said no and went to congress to testify about it. He played along long enough to find out what it was about and who was behind it, is that what you are referring to?

He admitted to suppressing locals in foreign lands for the interest of US Corporations.

Though I think his revelations became evident to him later in his career.
