Ventril Server up and running!

Well the Teamspeak server NEPA had a while back died out, so I thought I'd re-establish it in the form of a Ventrilo server, since I already have one mostly for gaming and there's plenty of room over there.
Download and install Ventrilo:
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
Run it, follow the arrows:
Hostname/IP: vent29.gameservers.com
Port: 4356
password: 123
Log in and head to the Liberty Forest channel :D

Here is a quick little run-down of how to normalize the volume in vent. I highly recommend everyone do this in their own vent. It makes it a lot better, and complaints of people being way too loud should go down.

But don't let this be an excuse to talk over everyone. Try to be civil and keep it cool...if someone is talking, try not to interrupt them.

Go to Setup
Enable Direct Sound
Select the SFX Button
Select Compressor and click Add.
Under Compressor Properties use the following settings:
Gain = Adjust for how loud you want people to be. (I use 15)
Attack = 0.01
Release = Around 500
Threshold = Around -30
Ratio = 100
Pre delay = 4.0

Done!
