Between the changes by the FCC in the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999........seriously what industry didn't Clinton help open the gates of h*ll to?

deregulation=good

too bad it's never actually happened

and a 'deregulation' is actually increased regulation because an unfettered market will regulate businesses to a greater degree than government.

If a business does bad stuff --> fewer people will do business with them

My perception is that he didn't so much de-regulate as alter loopholes in existing legislation for transnational corporations to jump in the door and exploit for profits.
