I can't believe I never posted this in here, considering all the libertarian home-schoolers.

Stossel In the Classroom is a DVD that has been issued for FREE for three years to educators (and others who request it).

It offers debate on a good number (and wide range) of controversial topics and gives structured reasoning why the statist position is, more often than not, a social disservice when opportunity cost is taken into consideration. That being so, Stossel in the Classroom offers great lessons in economics, government/civics, and political science.

Stossel criticizes the Media for alarmism (and apologizes for some alarmist segments on 20/20 from long ago), destroys causes for over-valuation and under-valuation of goods based on false premises, and slams stereotyping, calling them self-fulfilling prophecies. Oh -- and every episode has a healthy amount of disgust for government intervention and politicians' belief that they are to be social engineers.

But wait -- there's more! Stossel in the Classroom also offers fantastic teacher guides, giving ideas for debates, essays, and other activities.

Visit now, and you'll also notice a fantastic section giving a "condensed" version of a DVD lesson, streamed online, and updated with new material every month -- including 28 previous lessons (as of June, 2009).
