It is our belief that the federal government has consistently over-stepped it's constitutional boundaries and usurped the powers reserved to the states, and therefore the people.

Joining us in July is State Representative Kris Jordan.

State Representative Kris Jordan is currently serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 2nd House District, which includes all of Delaware County, and was elected by his colleagues to serve as Assistant Minority Whip of the Ohio House of Representatives.

A life-long resident of Delaware County, Representative Jordan has served as a Delaware county commissioner since 2002. While serving as county commissioner, he helped to cut property taxes and brought new investment to Delaware. Prior to his career in elected office, Representative Jordan worked as a legislative aide in the Ohio House for Representatives Joan Lawrence and Jon Peterson. Throughout his career he has gained interest and experience in the areas of energy, tax reform, and spending cuts.

Representative Jordan received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from The Ohio State University.

An active participant in community organizations, Representative Jordan is a member of the Delaware County Farm Bureau, Hiram Masonic Lodge, the Delaware County Township Association and the County Commissioner Association of Ohio.

Representative Jordan and his wife Melissa live in Powell. They are members of LifePoint Church.

The OFA would also like to thank Rep. Martin for jointly sponsoring this resolution of HCR11.
