And there are people who are honestly shocked and dismayed when a few citizens at the end of their rope decide to take out their long term frustrations on random uniforms...

If you notice, the following tends to happen.
1. Over aggressive cop gets caught abusing citizen.
2. Cop resigns and is not prosecuted.
3. Cop is hired by another law enforcement agency.
4. Go to 1 and repeat cycle.

Miles, a six-year veteran of the force, resigned from his position earlier this week.
He has been charged with one count of battery and one count of violation of oath of office by a public officer.
Too bad we can't charge our congressional reps with "violation of oath of office."
