When his book comes out this fall he needs to spend 4-6 weeks getting on every major talk show to discuss his new #1 NYT best seller. Daily show, Letterman, Conan, Colbert, The View, etc...

And he needs to finish his book tour with a highly publicised announcement that he is forming an exploratory committee for the presidency.

It would be perfect timing. He could easily have $20 mil in the bank by the time the Iowa straw poll comes around.

Opinions?

I don't think he intends on running for president, but I'm definitely with the idea..

As far as the book tour, I remember Ron Paul saying he was trying to see if it could be released a little earlier because he has more time to do appearances during the summer. Hopefully there won't be a media blackout of his book - I want to see him on all the talk shows.

I doubt Ron Paul will talk about anything Presidential until after his 2010 Congressional run.

A book tour would be good though. Good timing with HR 1207 and all...

Yea, he definitely hasn't done anything to indicate he will run again...maybe he will change his mind though.

The timing of this announcement would just be too great though, especially if 1207 passes the house around this time. RP would be even more of a celeb than he already is.

I'd definitely like to see Ron Paul try and explain to the women of "The View" why the Fed ought to be abolished. Tell me that won't go over their heads.

Nah, he's really good at breaking it down when he needs to and is in the right mood.

Personally, I think if HR 1027 passes, Ron will announce a 2012 run immediately following the "results" of the Audit in 2010.

I give him C-Span and maybe Colbert at the most.

I disagree. It'll be a hot topic, especially on talk radio. Neal Cavuto will have him on I'd bet money.

It will be up to us to bombard every mainstream show in existence.

Instead of the daily phone, fax, email bombs to congressmen......we will focus on a show each day :)
