KY Senate President won't run for US Senate

Kentucky Senate President David Williams says he's not running for the U.S. Senate in 2010.

I believe Williams earlier stated that he would run only if Bunning were to stay in the race.

Is this a hint that he has caught word that Bunning will definitely not be running?

EDIT: Nevermind.. I just read another article in which Williams predicts that Bunning will be running. Then again, this is politics we are discussing here...

Williams is TERRIBLE. As leadership in the senate, his influence kept our anti-Real ID bill and a pro-gun bill from passing. The irony is that these had passed the Democratic House (unanimously, in the case of Dangerous ID). Additionally, he killed our bill to legalize industrial hemp.

He has no respect for liberty or the prosperity of Kentucky. I wish he'd run, just so we could get him out of the state senate. :\
