Looks great, and they will be adding some amazing chapter functionality before the first Semester of the '09 / '10 school year.

There are 4 magazines a year, and there are plans to release one every month. At the current rate, you're paying 12.50 for each magazine, since you only "donate" once a year.

If everything goes as planned, you will be paying only $4 a magazine next year.

Besides, it's not really about the magazines. It's about supporting an organization that is training and mobilizing youth activists to fight for limited government and individual freedom. Funds from generous donors are paying my way to an intense 3-day political training session at the end of July.

YAL is arming our energetic youth with the right knowledge and tools to make a difference. I encourage you donate that $50. :)

I'll shoot a message to YAL about this... I would also like some more emphasis on the forum.

Because they are insanely expensive and, as nice as this website looks, I'm not sure it is worth the bill. If all of the social networking and grassroots tools live up to the hype, I may withdraw that statement, but C4L already has the precinct leader program.

I think they are using netboots (http://www.netboots.net), which is around 150 a month.

I donated $25 when the organization first came into existence and have been (unexpectedly) receiving the magazines. It's usually a pretty good read.

2000 a year does not get a Terra Eclipse website from scratch. That is just the cost of the Netbooks tools.

From the ground up, a Terra Eclipse website can run you $50-60k.
