SUMMARY: In response to Shepard Smith's remarks that the Holocaust museum shooting validated a recent DHS report on right-wing extremism, several conservative media figures have attacked Smith or called for his firing from Fox News.

Read the comments folks...The masses are calling for blood from those who rock the boat. At this rate they should be able to shut down dissenters as domestic terrorists. The comments will make your blood run cold and it is starting to look like we are peeing in the wind trying to wake anyone up....

Whose side are you on with this article? Media Matters is a socialist front organization. Here they defend Shep Smith for lumping small government libertarian types with neo-Nazis and terrorists and trying to validate that awful DHS report. Smith is a shrill, Obamabot pansy and I'd like to see him off the airwaves.

Well, I was wondering the same thing. If Shepard Smith is trying to use this horrible event to substantiate the need for the profiling in the MIAC report, he should be fired. I can't imagine why you would not agree.

If that is directed towards me. Shep should be fired, as well as most of the other news casters on pretty much all the stations. I posted the video the other day of shep talking shit about his e-mails etc. I posted this as a follow up because it said conservatives were calling for him to be fired, and I agreed that he should be....

Actually, I think the whole thing was a big misunderstanding. The first posts made it sound like it was a bad thing to fire the guy and then the whole thing just steamrolled from there.

I think most everyone here is in agreement that the guy is scum for trying to substantiate the MIAC report with this murder.

Let's just move on, ok?

I wasn' trying to skirt anything. I took offense to some newb saying that I was operating for a "socialist front organization" who obviously doesn't know me. He could of said he didnt agree with it or whatever, but he made a personal attack on me, and I responded accordingly. People post shit on here all the time from the daily kos and huffington post...

I stand by my picture though, he can go #$%& himself. if the picture violates forum rules feel free to delete it. delete the entire thread if you want. it makes no difference to me.

LOL...I guess I understood where op was coming from due to their previous posts. I question motives of those invoking this war of liberties. It reeks of someone fanning the flames of discontent, esp. when they belong to the same network....

To me the comments were the most shoking part of the link as many feel the need to support pre-emptive profiling under the circumstances categorized by the miac report.
