I'm wondering if there's a time limit for when 1207 needs to be passed. Is there a nth congress that ends its session and starts over or something like that? Also, should we start supporting the Senate bill too (I think SB 604) by Bernie Sanders or just wait for 1207 to get two-thirds? I'd like to see both get 2/3 sponsorship because I doubt Obama will sign it. Thanks.

*scratches chin* I've been wondering the same things myself...

It has to be passed before 2010. The wording of the bill mandates an audit by 2010.

We have to continue pressuring the Congressmen who didn't cosign 1207 while at the same time we pressure our senators to cosponsor S 604. We also need to bombard all forms of the media by talking to them about the Audit the Fed bill. Maybe it would be a good idea to hand out flyers at the Tea Party demonstrations on July 4th?

This session of congress ends Jan 3rd 2010. I believe all bills in the house that don't pass before then are discarded. Not completely sure about this though.

Yeah, but when are the Tea Parties anyway? Some are showing the day or 2 days before. We should get the word out about them and then pass out fliers there.

Frank said in an interview with the politico he would push HR 1207 next year and after Obama's regulatory efforts are done.

Just in time for it to not matter.

You know, instead of just coming out and saying they don't support the bill, they do underhanded stuff like this because they're cowards. That's the worst part of it all.
