So I'm pre-ordering Ron Paul's End the Fed book at amazon through lewrockwell's site (happy I can do that to support his site!) and I want to get the super shipping free shipping since without it shipping is $4!
I was wondering what recommendations you all have as to what I should get? I have RP's Manifesto and Meltdown already, I would like to get a book that isn't already free somewhere online, and I'm pretty sure I want something about economics to help me understand it better (already read Economics in One Lesson) or some really good fiction book (I have Atlas Shrugs at home on my reading list).
Any suggestions?

"Radicals for Capitalism" by Brian Doherty is the authority on libertarian history, and is written well-enough (or perhaps.... "crudely" enough???) to keep my attention.
It's a bit of a tome, though, so it'll probably cost at least $20.

Oh.. yeah history is a good choice too. I've been wanting to read The Real Lincoln. :)

That isn't free online? But... mises.org has them all basically....
So many you won't read, even though they are free in pdf.
Can you drop that request, so I can offer good alternatives? lol

The premier anti-Fed book is The Creature from Jekyll Island, which Paul recommends in his reading list from Revolution: Manifesto. It's a life changer. It was really informative but I was also looking for a more general, practical book on economics and I found a book called Economic Literacy:
http://www.amazon.com/Economic-Literacy-Everyone-Needs-Markets/dp/0517886839/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1244842930&sr=8-1
I'm only a chapter or 2 into it but it's good so far, and looking at the table of contents it covers the other stuff I want to know about. It's not supposed to be a libertarian book, but will help you understand the economic terms and information discussed in the news
