View Full Version : Austrian Economics
Hello there!
I'm wondering if a few of you could perhaps reccomend a couple of books that explain the Austrian theory of Economics :) I've heard Ron Paul talk about it a lot but I've never really understood it, and so I think it's time to educate myself!
I actually come from the UK and so sadly my choice of books on this subject are limited.. So I think I will have to ship from the US!
PS my first post here as you can tell, so hey everyone!!
Thanks

Hi Tobe, welcome to the forum.
Just so you know you don't need to spend a dime to learn all you need about the Austrian school of economics. Check out www.mises.org for all the audiobooks and pdf downloads you can handle :)
I recommend "Economics in One Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt. There's also a ton of great resources free at http://www.mises.org
I was actually going to purchase my books from mises and get them shipped internationally!
Thank you both for your input!
Pennysylvania - http://mises.org/resources/2022 are those the audobooks you're referring to or are there more on Mises.org? :)

I was referring to these (http://mises.org/media.aspx?action=category&ID=85), to be exact. But wherever you can get the info from, it's all good. :D

I prefer to have the physical copies handy to refer back to easy and to borrow to friends. The book is indispensable and easy to understand.
