We watched a youtube on a non mozilla browser.

We can call it up now and it's there ready to watch.

We are on dial up and loading takes a loooong time.

This youtube HAS to be on the computer somewhere.

Is it one file?

Is it multiple pieces that the browser assembles?

Is there a way to convert what is already on the PC into an FLV without downloading again?

Am I stuck opening it in mozilla and using the plug ins to save it as an FLV?

Thanks.

No, its a temp file that is created, then deleted once the video is viewed. Sorry.

Do you use windows? A copy of every youtube video you watch is stored in the temporary internet folder. They can easily be extracted to the desktop, renamed as an flv file, and replayed over and over. There are Youtube videos that show you how to do this step by step. That's how I learned. Do you have broad band wireless access in your area? People in your neighborhood may use wireless routers, and leave the on all the time. That's free internet access you can tap into, with much greater speeds than dialup.

Try this. It just makes it a little easier.
