The case is absolutely absurd. It should have never went to trial in the first place because a few people "thought they recognized him" -- when they in fact HAD NOT. You have to give credit to the Israeli Supreme Court for not trying to burn the guy at the stake, and actually releasing him.

I don't know who these "OSI" people are, but I think it is abhorrent that they're trying to use beyond flimsy evidence to convict a guy --- I don't care how long ago it was, you need to have evidence.

Poor gent. I think he's innocent, and I hope he survives his time in Germany so he can make it home and carry out his last days at peace.
