Are he and Palin the only governors to refuse bailout money? Seems to me there was another one...

Sanford, Perry, Jundal, and Palin are all PHONIES...

they refused bailout money only because they plan to run in 2012....

Don't get sucked in by these ambitious frauds...neo-cons talking the libertarian talk...

A Paul/Sanford ticket would be nice for 2012. RP speaks highly of MS.

America can do so much better than Sanford.

These are revolutionary times that call for revolutionary leaders, and Sanford is definitely not a revolutionary. A good politician? Yes. Honest? Maybe. But he hasn't shown what it takes, which is the fearlessness that Ron Paul, and Jesse Ventura has.

If they're not an independent candidate then it's not worth paying any attention to them.

Thing is...we need someone the mainstream is familiar with and someone with experience. Yes, Ventura was governor, but he's not (vice)presidential material. People won't vote for him, he's too far out there. Sanford would be nice to have on the Paul ticket, people know him, he's quite popular and he seems to be quite a good, honest politician.

Sanford would be a great running mate.

I know where you're coming from, but forget kowtowing to the crowd. We are the mainstream, it just depends on how forceful and eloquent we are.

Was MLK mainstream when he started his campaign? Was Ghandi mainstream? Was Rosa Parks mainstream? If we do the right thing, and support the right leaders, then people will naturally come.

None of the great visionary men were mainstream. They created a movement and people came to them.

If you want conventional politics, then I guess you're right, Sanford would make a good candidate. But we must throw conventional politics out the window since it isn't working.
