Hello, I mentioned last summer on this forum that I was making a documentary on Sweden. It's finally finished, a three hour long movie containing lots of information. I've got a webpage up for it at http://www.socialistutopia.org/ with links to download it or watch it online. Primary download link is http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4938945/The_Socialist_Utopia , though I made a playlist on Youtube as well, http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=EDCEB0E16F396CDE .

I've got a list of contents up on the webpage, in the movie I cover atrocities committed by the state, the hate laws, translating the very laws, the wording of which will shock most people. Government payouts to mass media, how the government takes most of your income in taxes and mostly just wastes it all on inflated government programs etc.

In the next few days I'm going to make a DVD image with menus, hopefully that will enable large scale distribution through people burning it and sending to friends etc, even though I don't have any distribution channel.

I guess the movie is what you call "agenda-driven" in that I detest this society and cover all the downsides of it, but I'm still truthful, reference just about all claims in statistics, official reports and laws etc.

Hope you enjoy it, it should be good ammunition in convincing people that Obama is taking the US in the wrong direction, since he seems to want to replicate the Swedish model over there.

I finished a DVD image today with menus for navigation, as well as subtitles in case my voice is incomprehensible: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4953832

I'm downloading it now and will tell you what I think when I finish watching it in the next day or so. In any case, I'm sure this must have taken up a great deal of your time and I appreciate the effort

Looks like the comments could use a little help.

It's OK, but I would have the voiceover redone. It's a bit monotone and barely understandable.

I wish I had a better narrator's voice and better sound equipment. Hopefully my voice doesn't make the movie fail. :(

Hmm, that's more than my wallet can afford. But I just realized I could make a DVD with subtitles - then people that have a hard time comprehending my voice will still be able to understand. It's true I've got a bit of a speech impediment, though was hoping it wouldn't be a problem.

A guy in Norway went to jail because he said that he is getting tired of seeing the women of his country raped by immigrant hordes. Nice hate speech laws.

Hmm, that sounds like one of the people I depict in this movie - Björn Björkqvist. His exact quote was: "I don't think I'm alone in feeling bad when Swedish girls are being raped by immigrant hordes". Yep, the hate laws are truly insane, you go to prison for absolutely nothing here. Homophobia, arguing that races are different, contesting historical truth etc.

What reception do you think a documentary like this would get in Sweden? Bc I know an internet forum I often go on that has several Swedish people who lean liberal but liked the Pirate Party.

I definitely think it will have an audience as a flagship, though most educated Swedes are already aware of what's depicted in the movie. But, like Michael Moore's movies, they're useful as symbols too, a banner to overpower the other side with. But I figured I'd spread it in the US first since I'm more likely to get a positive response there. When it's gotten off the ground over there, I guess I'll advertise here too.

There's a bit of a risk in advertising here though.. The press laws apply if you target the Swedish audience with information. It's possible some of the content in this movie is illegal, but as long as I'm not spreading it to Swedes myself, the laws don't apply. There are so many laws and provisions they can nail down speech with here, I probably violate a few of them with this movie.
