Why doesn't the damn calendar at ronpaul2008.com mention this event? I don't get it. A couple days ago they just added the debate on the 27th, even though RP has been committed forever now.

I'm very close to Nashville and I want to go. Can someone gimme a URL with more info?

Yes, the HQ is slow. Next week I will personally press them to get this information on their site because it gives us legitimacy.

RP will be in cincinnati the same day at a national 2nd amendment rights meeting. I'm not sure of the timing of his two events, but I can't be in two places at once unfortunately, or I most definitely would

He's leaving right after the Nashville rally to attend that meeting.

the nashville rally is important because fred had a rally in lawrenceburg recently, to about 400-500 ppl. if dr paul can outdraw him here, in freds home state, that will be a major statement.

nashville is liberal "for the south" which means Dr. Paul's message fits in well.

liberal for the south winds up being pretty similar to Dr. Paul's message in the city, if you actually ask people what they believe in.

loyalty is our big problem here, as fred is from here, and hometown hero status means a lot in this state.

but mistrust of the government is a TRUE STAPLE of any southern statesman! we had cities melted to the ground a couple generations back!

I'm starting to see more and more Fred bumper stickers around...Now is the time to converge on Nashville and make a splash! Give the local talk show hosts something to talk about. If Thompson wasn't running there is a strong chance that they would be supporting Paul. Come on guys...I flew to Iowa for the Straw Poll...hint! hint!

I'll be there.

Please let everyone know about the fundraiser prior to the Rally.
You can donate $500, or $1000, and get to chat with Ron Paul
himself. How cool is that.

For those of you who are coming from out of town to support Ron Paul at the Nashville rally, the Quality Inn a couple miles from the airport is giving a huge discount -- offering a special rate of $39.00 for Ron Paul supporters. If you're interested in getting this special rate, call the hotel directly at (615) 367-9150 and ask for the "Ron Paul discount."

This rate is not available for those attempting to book a room online, you must call the hotel directly. Ron Paul supporters are welcome to stay at the Quality Inn using this special rate for either the night before the rally, the night after the rally, or both (Oct. 5th and 6th). Please feel free to pass this information on to friends, family and fellow supporters who are coming from out of town to attend the rally.

Hey everyone, Spread the word anyway you can about the Nashville Briefing.
We've only had a short time to plan this event, and we need as many

i think to look like an authentic nashvillian nowadays, you have to crossdress or dress like your a "rocker" from a reality show (how the country musicians dress).

i.e. get frosted tips and an eyebrow ring and tight jeans.

haha.

Parking is free on the weekends in all the open, government owned lots around the Legislative Plaza. There are also numerous pay-to-park lots within a block or two from there too. The War Memorial Auditorium/Legislative Plaza is on Charlotte Ave between 6th and 7th Avenues. It's right across the street (on Charlotte) from the state capital and there are parking lots all around the capital that are free.
