If you don't have a car you might want to look onto taking a train. That's usually how I get up there from down here in St. Louis.

Chicago media is lame. I called Chicago meetup organizer and he said that he was not aware of any confirmed media presence at the event.

While there may be some media there - it doesn't gaurantee quality unbiased coverage. You people in other places can be a big help here.

Let Chicago media know how much Chicago loves and supports Ron Paul and that he is having a large rally today at 2:30PM Central (get em there early) at the Regency Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency. Pick a random issue to tell them about why you like Ron so that the calls are diverse and I hope you create fans and favorable coverage. Start contacting and calling now!

This is why its crucial at sometime for the national campaign to somehow let meetups know whats going on as well as the meetups keeping up with the national. These things are going to continue to happen until we have a free meetup source ASAP.
