This was a really good read I thought I'd share with RPF. I know we oppose Coulter's political views but I must say she is a sharp and effective chronicler of left wing hypocrisy. It's important to see in detail how the media frames the debate against those it opposes.
She demolishes the Left's always righteous image of themselves. Her main thesis is that the Left leads the attacks while posing as the victim ie "Speak Loudly and Carry a Small Victim". Another good point is that in America posing as a victim in politics scores more points than being a successful and self sufficient.
We've all witnessed media bias but Coulter put's the words side-by-side with the ignored stories and exposes the MSM as ridiculous shills. It's pretty amazing to see the comments and claims made in print and then have the Left blackout more horrendous stories that would reflect poorly on "the cause"
One blatant example is the John Edwards story versus the Jack Ryan story.
John Edwards, as you may know, cheated on his cancer stricken wife and was only exposed after the disreputable Enquirer got pictures. Meanwhile Jack Ryan, a successful businessman, went to the entrance of a risque club with his wife and ... left immediately. That information was dug up by the Obama campaign via petitioning of private divorce papers to be opened. Coulter provides an enormous number of such examples.
No doubt Ann Coulter is just as partisan as they are but everyone knows where she comes from. Also she lacks the power and resources to dig up original information and disseminate her attacks. The MSM does not.
It's a bit lengthy but an enjoyable read.
