I just saw on CNN that Cheney wants to straighten out the GOP. His daughter was on promoting him. I am speechless. Surely he could not win...

The GOP is reforming itself. Thanks to Ron Paul and our grassroots.

If Cheney is the "savior", GOP will spend next few decades in the darkest bottom depths of the ocean where no one will miss it. He's a walking talking definition of human depravity.

He and his buddy George are obviously the ones that created the problem in the 1st place. Why can't any reporters ask him about this?

After what I witnessed at my states Repub convention this weekend he could very well win. The two conservatives for Office in the state were beaten by the establishment boys. TPTB are still very much in control.

Yet guys like Peter Schiff try to convince Libertarians to take over the party, this hierarchically controlled party which is completely guided/controlled by psychopaths like Cheney.

From the article: "Former Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday he supports gays being able to marry but believes states, not the federal government, should make the decision."

So now he's for states rights...

This is highly unusual. I thought Cheney far, far too spoiled to fix what he broke. But then, he broke Halliburton and apparently felt responsible enough (or enough of a drop in his stock prices) to start a war for it's benefit. So maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah, we have a way to go both in terms of getting the numbers and in educating conservatives. But please don't lose heart. I'll just bet you've made more progress than you know. Generally, you don't see it until that magical moment comes when you do. And then you get the joy of trying to keep the aparatus honest. But evil does love apathy...
