I posted this not because I have a problem with Alan Keyes' daughter but because of Keyes statements about gays... Well worth the read.

Alan Keyes needs to come out of the closet. I'd have more respect for him if he did.

This was an issue when he ran against Obama for the Senate. Not new news.

WTF, nothing against gays but the hypocrisy is amazing. Paul is right, the FEDS have no business in individual sex lives. The religious right needs to keep this at the local and family level, same with porn, teach your kids your own values.

Basically. There's no way the government can handle these issues. This is a personal and family matter. Anyone who wants the government to legislate in this area is insane or immoral.

Don't forget, Keyes said that Mary Cheney was a selfish hedonist.

Then why does Ron Paul support don't ask don't tell?

Heterosexuals are allowed to talk about their sex lives but homosexuals are not.

No actually Ron Paul does not support a double standard, go back and watch the Google interview.

The military should have higher standards of conduct than regular society. Personally, I'd kick all the homosexuals out. It infringes upon the rights of normal troops to have to share sleeping quarters and bathrooms with dudes who are checking out their privare parts. It does not serve the cohesiveness of a fighting unit.

And women in combat is an absolute disgrace...totally unbecoming of a civilized nation to allow its women to be blown up
