Introducting Jon Roland and topic -

Jon Roland is the founder of the Constitution Society, and ran for Texas Attorney General in 2002 and 2006. He also just came back from the recent Jekyll Island Project meeting as a project leader mentioned elsewhere on the forums lately. He is willing to answer your questions about grand juries, how they are suppose to be an independent investigative arm capable of taking care of government abuse, what private prosecution is (how our legal system mostly worked at one time) and how it relates to grand juries. He's willing to answer your questions on any of these topics (and perhaps more).

Sheriffs aren’t the only thing that has changed over the last 100 years or so. Another thing that has changed is grand juries and private prosection. It makes a lot of difference on the justice level in having a fair and impartial system, convicting corrupt officials, and throwing out bogus charges.

Few people can discuss the topic in depth, but Jon Roland can. Jon Roland will be here in a little bit to answer every question anyone has on the topic.

Please wait until he gets on before posting
