Should Peter Schiff decide to run for Senate, does any one have any ideas about how we can bring the grassroots support together for both candidates?

Schiff talked about the ability fund his own Primary Race, this would eliminate the financial burden having an additional candidate running would bring.
This is a huge plus.
If Schiff can win the primary- then donations would come in naturally.
If both Paul and Schiff win in 2010- that would be a huge indicator of who really will run the future of the GOP and also a good indicator that a Ron Paul run for President could be successful.
It adds legitimacy to the freedom movement, and adds more dirt on the graves of the neocons.
This is worth every penny donated to these guys.

If Schiff and Rand both made it through their primaries, it would be a HUGE story, that would begin to generate plenty of buzz about our movement vs the future of the GOP. It would be beyond epic.

I don't think it's worth tying the two candidates together, for two reasons:

1. We're trying to mainstream the movement so it becomes the future of the GOP. We shouldn't be calling out our candidates as if they were a separate slate - slate tactics only pay off when the candidates are running in the same race. Yes, let's energize the grassroots for Schiff and Paul, but lets keep the races separate.

2. Schiff and Paul may not be the only two "movement" candidates. They're just the two we know right now. It's still VERY early in the 2010 process, and I'm sure we'll have other candidates emerge between now and the end of the year, when things really start to pick up for 2010.
