I'm certain it's been posted about here before, but one thing I noticed about the neoconservatives, lumpenconservatives and Beltway Republicans who were condemning the content of newsletters that Ron Paul didn't even write himself was how much of a case of the pot calling the kettle black it was/is. It's pretty galling coming from people who not only normally describe Arabs and Muslims as subhuman, but also defend World War II internment camps. Furthermore, the things these aforementioned hypocrites were saying about New Orleans residents in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina (I couldn't even listen to talk radio anymore after that) made the newsletter comments about fleet-footed young black men look downright tame by comparison.
Then there's how they accuse Paul of anti-Semitism, but then seem to be at a loss for words when corrupt televangelists say that Jews are going to Hell and still imply they're predisposed to socialism and deviousness (I guess it doesn't matter just as long as they claim to support Israel).

The only thing worse than their hypocrisy, of course, is their evasiveness when you throw it back in their faces, especially on the Internet.

I forgot to mention that "lumpenconservative" here refers to certain conservatives who have vile views, but don't quite fit the description of neocons (like freepers, for example).

One thing I try to point out whenever people dig this crap up is that Ron Paul's policy on ending the fed is the ONLY issue that will protect the wealth of poor and minority groups. One major reason that the impoverished can never get ahead is because the value of their dollar is continually dropping, and those who do save money are robbed of it.

Very true. Incidentally, you most of Paul's Republican detractors scoff at that idea, too (ending the Fed, I mean).

Here's an old Antiwar.com piece (http://www.antiwar.com/barganier/?articleid=204) that also touches on the hypocrisy of the usual suspects who cry racism.

Some of the biggest and most hate filled racists are people opposing Ron Paul. That would include many of those who ridiculed Ron Paul when he talked about Blowback in foreign policy debates. Most of neocons, with or without their liberal constumes, who advocated elective bloodshed against people of Iraqi race based on lies and bogus assertions are some of the biggest racists, to them innocent lives of another people dont matter and supporting oppressions of freedoms/occupations of other people has no consequences. They have caused such massive damage to American liberties, values and economy, their ill conceived actions can be called anti American also.
