Oh and if you search YT for it, there are many remixed versions. It's quite humorous.

For the first time in months I had some down time and was chilling at a friend's house last night. While working on political items we were surfing YouTube for FAIL videos :p

Bullshit Issue. Fear the N word.

The black students (presumably those that use the word) do not hold property rights over it.

So everyone is free to use it. Of course the question then becomes was there intent to harass
and from what I have seen I do not see that intent in the teacher.

Even if there was, there should be at least a warning given, the man spent 20 years teaching,
some consideration should be given to that.

I appreciate the nuance that when the N word (whatever the suffix) comes from the teacher
its intent is not readily apparent, quite unlike the exchanges in a peer group
where it is accepted as a pattern of regular conversation. I would bet that if the teacher
was somehow felt to be a friend of the students this would be a non-issue.

Perhaps, the possibility that the teacher keeps professional distance, made this awkward, and prior neural programming
made the student react in the only rational way the student could react, which is to assume racism,
even though it may have been the teacher trying to be 'hip' or just reciting what he hears every day without
pausing to think it over and without malicious intent.

The TV show The Boondocks had an episode where it made fun of that same news story. I thought they had just made it up, but now I see where they got the idea from. Here it is:

Lol, he was suspended for 10 days. The kid wants him to lose his job over it?

Great, and every time a black person uses it they either get thrown out of school or lose their job. It's called being equal before the law.

Lmao.... Moron.... I can't believe they let him keep his job. I've never heard such piss-poor backpedaling in my life. I did better when I was 10 years old.
