Look at the questions that were sent to the candidates:

"The questions were: 1. We would like to hear if you support the Employee Free Choice Act and what you would do as president to lead the fight to get that legislation past the hurdle of a Senate filibuster and onto your desk for signature. 2. Tell us how you would fund universal health care to ensure that all Americans have coverage and to make U.S. jobs more competitive and not disadvantage those employers that currently provide quality health benefits to their employees. 3. Detail specific steps you would offer to cut the trade deficit -- now more than $700 billion a year -- and help spur the retention and growth of jobs in this country. CWA also is encouraging members to become fully engaged in political campaigns to run for election as delegates to the Democratic and Republican conventions."

My guess is that Ron knew that his free market, limited government approach would get no traction with this group.

sometimes i think it would be easier if i supported a candidate who flip flopped. :)

still just a logical usual response would of gotten him some supporters. I already know hillary's response to all the questions, "I think blahblah is very important. I think blahblah be discussed and a good solution should be found." *insert hysterical clapping and cheers*

health care is a non issue.. you just deregulate it and leave it alone. What more? Our health care would improve so much in a true free market system that I believe costs just wouldn't be an issue. Why does it cost so much when everything that has zero to minimal government involvement is affordable? Cell phones come to mind. I can get one FREE right now if I wanted! Why don't doctors try to make you feel comfortable? They would if they needed your business! Competitions cuts prices and competition improves quality. That's how it works. It's pretty simple really. You get the government out of health care and you eliminate two things: corporate statuses and corporate welfare, then you just leave it alone. I must reiterate an analogy, ever hear of doctors in the "wild west" deny treatment to people? Nope. You walk in. You get treated. You work out payment details afterwards. Simple. And you don't think they'll work out payment plans with you? You don't think there would be charity around as well? Of course there would be!

My vision for health care is this: a true free market system would be as cheap as Walmart but with the quality of a five start restaurant. Comprende? We'll have price lists, we'll have competition among doctors, we'll have private organizations that would allow us to rate doctors, word of mouth referrals, payment plans, on and on. It would just be a non issue. That's what I would like to see anyway.

*government out
*totally free market
*leave it alone*
*END corporate welfare
*end corporate statuses <-- why? well, what protects the CEO from liability? corporate status! besides, it's government imposed regulation, so who the hell wants that anyway? People should be liable for their actions, this would be a deterrent for companies to not fuck up!

Health care will FINALLY be solved. But no, you got these assholes that want to take us IN THE WRONG DIRECTION! Socialists use what we have now as an example of CAPITALISM lol. Is this a free market? hells no! This is god damn elitism! Got an insurance card? You're treated like gold. Don't? Treated like dirt. It's fascism.
It's fucking ridiculous. This is NOT capitalism! Well, there's capital involved, but it's not a free market... universal is better for the uninsured, but t's just taking one problem and swtching it for another. It's crap. Need something done? You'll be waiting months.. maybe years in universal. And the quality? Down hill!

Government only does well in defense and in law & order. Other then that? Government sucks.
