Look at all the anti-Cherry stuff. Even popular sites like Lew Rockwell are covering this nobody. I hope this isn't getting Cherry out there to possible neocons donors.

To be fair though, Peden was pimped endlessly by them, including on FreeRepublic, HotAir and RedState; and went nowhere. Also I heavily doubt he can raise anything close to what Chris Peden did in money.

How many people would even know about this guy if it wasn't for Ron Paul political junkies talking about him? I doubt he even right now has 5% name recognition in Texas' 14th district.

Good point. I say lay off the anti-Cherry campaign until 2010 comes around or we see a reason to believe he's a threat.

I'm not into the anti-cherry thing, but I saw something that may interest some of you:

http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Texas_GOP_Congressional_Candidate_Jeff_Cherry_bank ruptcy_record%2C_2003

or direct to the document:
http://file.sunshinepress.org:54445/jeff-cherry-texas-bankruptcy-2003.pdf

It is his bankruptcy filing in 2003. The relevant thing here is that he failed to manage his own finances, yet claims to be a fiscal conservative. You could see from this document that he had an enormous amount of credit card debt over many cards.

I don't like this kind of thing, but it may be relevant. Cherry has resorted to an attack campaign, but he comes off as pretty amateur. I hope the voters are smart enough to see the real differences between Cherry and Paul.

I don't even think the establishment republicans want Cherry. He's pretty hopeless.

Cherry won't ever be anything but a washed up school teacher. There are far more important things we can confront, let him get his tiny percentage in the primary next year and then go back to his pitiful day job.
