Can this be used to nullify other federal laws like industrial hemp, medicinal marijuana,
the Patriot Act, etc?

Most are actually nullified by the Constitution. Unfortunately our state politicians do not make an issue of upholding the Constitution. I consider them just as shameful as those in Washington who pass these unconstitutional laws.

This indeed will be the test bed. If this thing goes good it looks like Montana (cold or not) will be the best bet for LFOD. Just like you said, if this works and they don't back down next year in Montana look to see many other things added to such a clause.

Montana cold? Naw! The Midwest is cold. Checkout western Montana; west of the Continental divide.

If the state and local officials are seriously willing to stand up to the feds, they can nullify any unconstitutional federal policies (that occur within their state) that they want to. The county sheriff is a good example of this:
