You call them new Nazis, neocons or potential terrorists, it is really scary phenomenon that is taking over Yahoo comments lately. Here is just an example:

reg.joe: White phosphorus, diesel, gasoline who cares? use any of them to burn muslims. Shot em, bomb em, nuke em anything to rid the earth of muslims...

every14pea: I can't believe the vitriolic comments by the yahoo population here! Who knew such people hid in the woods.
As to the story, our comments sound like the same crap we heard from Bush advisors ("couldn't have been us!") I expected better from Obama. Burning people with chemicals that prevent healing is torture not war.

All kind of extreme, vigorous comments are getting THUMPS UP and at all times (not just in this article). While any other moderate opinion is getting THUMPS DOWN-also at all times-in no time and eventually treated as a spam or an alien.

The other problem with those extremists is that they are holding in some phrases like those ones used by Ron Paul supporters like: Take our country back, the constitution, etc.... plus being anti Obama of course.

... so the "neocons" from Hotair.com finally found yahoo.

Remember the Obama forums that were set up as a parody site to make Obama supporters look bad? My feeling is there's a lot of Democrats out there who troll around pretending to be the most despicable, hate filled neocons imaginable in an attempt to make Republicans look even worse and also to encourage the real neocons to continue with their ways. It looks like they're pretty successful too.

I think there is enough republican extremists on the ground already to do the job and they are proudly expressing their own criminal minds.

I think if you have said the CIA instead of the Democrats, I might have supported the idea :)

Lots of stuff like this (including guests and reports on the news) is government funded. People are hired to spread propaganda and to blend in on forums, youtube, chat rooms, etc.

I thought this discussion was about Yahoo news, YN used to be relatively free but went down in quality few years ago when they hired some WSJ trained monkeys as news editors.

I have seen the same types of comments from both sides of the left right spectrum on general forums also. Most people have this idea that us and "our team" are the righteous and the other people are bad and "evil" so they should be shown no mercy and any measures to inflict pain and suffering towards these evil people is acceptable. This is what both the media and most of the politicians tell them also.

Neocons wearing the conservative mask, follow the conversation:

Palin2012: Maybe GW wasn't wrong after all. +69 http://www.ronpaulforums.com/gfx_RedWhiteBlue/icons/icon14.gif

Doritha: I miss him!!! History will prove him right and as a good man -shame to all who viciously attacked him! +29 http://www.ronpaulforums.com/gfx_RedWhiteBlue/icons/icon14.gif

Magneto:Even as stupid as liberals are, they know that to stay alive you must do whatever it takes, I was one that said Bush was an incompetent leader and wrong in not securing our borders, but he had it right when it came to the terrorists +18 http://www.ronpaulforums.com/gfx_RedWhiteBlue/icons/icon14.gif

Sue: President Obama may have discovered why President Bush made the decisions he did in the first place. A wise man will study information he has not been privileged to before and make tough decisions because they are right. I sincerely hope that is what is happening. +43 http://www.ronpaulforums.com/gfx_RedWhiteBlue/icons/icon14.gif

Hansli: Bush was the worst president in American history and his lies resulted in the death of 4200 brave American soldiers and thousands more wounded. Listen to Jesse Ventura on youtube: Waterboarding is torture and can easily result in murder. President Obama should lead the way to indict Bush, Cheney and Karl Rove so we can finally put an end to this despicable chapter in our history. -45 http://www.ronpaulforums.com/gfx_RedWhiteBlue/icons/icon13.gif

The most brutish comments are probably just liberal or 4chan-type trolls pretending to be neo-cons to get a rise. That doesn't explain all the thumbs up though. I guess this just shows that there's still a genuine, fanatical bloodthirsty base out there for the GOP.

CL-O: Amen, brother. These traitors not just of the American people but that of the Constitution should all be removed from office and kicked out of the country.

However. The fact that 90 Senators voted to keep Gitmo open today shows that at least some parts of Congress are listening to the citizens for once. Probably won't last long though despite their short encounter with reality. +22

Rick: SUCK IT, YOU WHINY AMERICA-HATING, TRAITOROUS CONTARD SCUMBAGS!
CONSERVATISM IS A MENTAL DISEASE THAT WILL SOON BE ERADICATED! -20

Mr.revolution: Rick, If the Revolution starts, I hope your at the front of the line . Please come to Texas. +11

C-LO: Gotta love Texas. They are as Red as you can get next to Alaska. +8

Although I do not agree with Rick but I also do not trust Mr.Revolution! It seems to me that he is agreeing that conservatism equals to: keeping Guantanamo opened.

This conversation made me doubt how far the younger generations understand what conservatism is about

Could any of those people be a Ron Paul supporter?

Revolution + Texas + Constitution - Guantanamo = Ron Paul

Is this equation right or should we add Gitmo?
