Watching it now. I'm getting really aggravated with the spin they're putting on everything. They keep blaming conservatives and tax cuts for the deficit instead of spending. I've lost count of how many times they've referred to Bush as a conservative. If he's a conservative, I'm a leprechaun.

^^^^^^ agreed....their all dems hating on tax cuts and conservatives.....mayb they should stop spending money along with tax cuts, instead of spending the same amount

Both Democrats and Republicans have increased spending. Republicans are more likely to include tax cuts with their increased spending which makes the debt grow twice as fast as just increasing spending. Since WWII the debt has grown faster under Republican presidents than under Democratic ones until Obama came along. But I should add that it is Congress and not the President who writes the budgets.
