Clay has already offered to help, but he is real busy, like the most of us,:o but I'd like to involve RPFs as much as possible in the upcoming ride, and would love to have a small team volunteer to help out looking after the site.

Currently, I'd like to replace the Draft Kokesh widgets with a stack of Liberty Candidate banners, add a freestate project banner to the friends column, and if you notice, on the bottom left, I still have not found where to change some font colors in the css file, after a background change ((((arrrggg)))).

The guy who has been helping me is busy, as well, so any help spreading the load will be much appreciated

:)

Thanks

I am graduating next Friday with a 2 year IT (AS) degree. I only took 1 class in website design using Frontpage. I will have quite an increase in free time over the next week and I'm willing to learn whatever I need. Here if ya need me.

Mahalo! :)

To start with we need to collect a bunch of small candidate banners.

(will be sized to 130x44px)

Kokesh
Schiff
Rand Paul
Heath Whitiker
Brogden
etc. (who???)
(please, excuse any misspellings)

Then, we'll change urls in the following code accordingly:

<div class="transON" onmouseover="this.className='transOFF'" onmouseout="this.className='transON'" >
<a align="top" href="http://Libertyforest.com">
<img width="130" height="44" src="http://i30.tinypic.com/2zsskup.gif" />
</a>
</div>

...insert it into the text widgets, and we'll be golden :cool:

Sorry I havent been back to these forums since I last posted on this thread. I was quite busy with finals and just graduated last night. Now I'll have some free time. I honestly have never done graphics design but I will start working and teaching myself it now.

Any tips would be helpful and I'll post what I do as I do it.

:) I hope your finals went well and thanks for checking back in. The graphics are pretty much done. Good thing to learn basic graphics though.

I use an open source program called GIMP, you can use paint or whatever is on your box, but GIMP is more like photoshop, much more powerful.

You can see what I did halfway down on the right with the candidate banners. http://libertyrider.com I just grabbed an image off the campaign site resized (GIMP will open a remote image). If you want to try getting a better Lonegan image that can be sized down to 130w and close to 44h, That would be great, and good practice.

Otherwise, there are other projects regarding the ride that could use help. We are trying to raech a supporter in every county I go through, mainly internet reseach on liberty orgs in that state, and sending emails till we get responses. I could hook you up with the coordinator if you want to help there.

Or you could help with media contacts...

whatever you like, cuz :)

I am most excellent at graphics & layout and will be glad to help when I can. Email constitutionalist@nc.rr.com

Bear in mind my primary focus right now is trying to make money to eat...

Thanks Glen :)

I need more candidate banners and a new oathkeeper banner (where the custodiuos is) - @130w, I actually made many of the OK banners you see around (not the patch), but would love to see what you come up with...

You can see the existing banner stacks at www.rideforhonesty.com

If you need more actual candidates, I have a growing list of possible liberty candidates.

Thanks, yes I do. I'd like to include as many as possible, top contenders (and friends) will go into the banner stacks. Overflow can go on the state pages (below the map/schedule with a remark to, "check your local candidates below", at the top)

http://libertyrider.com/route-schedule/pennsylvania-525-3009/

How big of a list is it???

and thanks for speaking up...

At the moment it is between 20 and 25. The things most sorely lacking are that I haven't ranked how much of a "freedom candidate" some people are, just using an imaginary threshold, and that I don't have a list of their campaign websites.

I included Name, State, Office, Party, and Campaign Status.
