Hey,
I wonder go into a large back story etc, but I imagine that many of you like myself are scared that if non-citizens are being stripped of the what I consider "due process", that it won't/wouldn't be long before we saw US Citizens losing their constitutional rights as well.
Up until a few weeks ago I thought it was only foreigners that had lost certain rights, but I saw a news report a few days ago mentioning a teenager (US Citizen) who was taken from his home for a supposed bomb threat. The article wasn't clear whether certain rights were stripped, but it seemed implied.
Does anyone know of any US Citizen actually losing certain rights in court as a result of the patriot act, or are things still fairly safe on that front?
