Fox needs to try to run this show with more than twelve dollars and a piece of shoelace.

My work has blocked my access to Youtube but I can view embedded videos. So, can someone do me a favor and embed the rest of the links (2-6) for todays freedomwatch in this thread? Pretty please, with sugar on top. :)

Good job by Jason Sorens of the Free State Project. I hope he is on more often as the Judge alluded to.

great content and guests on the show today, but who in the hell is running the technical aspects of this, Homer Simpson?? Who is in charge of audio, Daffy Duck?? I mean, come on, get these technical issues sorted out already!

Hannan was epic, Dr Paul was great, Rockwell was hardcore as usual, Schiff was on point. Cody is too much of a spaz to have on set, he needs to go. Shelly was most lovely and did a great job. One tip for you, though, Shelly. When people are new to TV they can get nervous. The best thing to beat nerves is one or two rum and cokes. :D;) Then again, if you're a lightweight, better stick to one! It takes the edge off.

The guy from Free State did fantastic. But too bad he didn't choose Nevada in the first place. I was LMAO when it came out that he himself won't even live in NH!

Thank you! Freedom Watch should really be shown on the Fox News Channel where more people can see it!

You're getting more comfortable week by week. This week I noticed very little "nervousness" from you. Couple more weeks and you'll be ready to host your own show. :)

I'm an audio engineer... looks like Fox could use me.. HAHAHAHA! Man, can these guys patch in a line or not??? :p

Well if they were going to bring you in, they would first have to fire their current sound engineer...

Great episode. Daniel Hannan is a pure joy to listen to.

Everyone else did a great job too, except for those audio dudes, who can't seem to figure out the basics.

Dude, the man is a college professor and those jobs aren't very easy to come by, so it's understandable that he might temporarily move back for work - ya gotta eat after all. Plus, Sorens just came up with the FSP concept. Participants like me voted for NH as the chosen state. Nevada is too vast of a state to travel easily for activism and it's crime rate isn't very low. Not to say I don't like Nevada, it just didn't cut it. NH is one of the original 13 states, so they have a better legal option for secession--if it comes to this.

*I'm just happy that the Judge asked Sorens to be a more regular guest. As an aside, NH had a good showing this week. The state senate [via pressure from the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance's (which is comprised of many free staters and campaign for liberty folks) activists] passed same-sex marriage, medical marijuana and prevented a seatbelt law. The former two are going to the governor's desk. Lastly, an A+ rated NHLA candidate (former state rep) just won a special election to the state house. So, another libertarian in the state house under the cover of being republican. Keep an eye on NH.

Oh, Shelly, some of our people over at the FSP want to give you an FSP/Gadsden t-shirt. Here's the link to the conversation, the relevant part starts a quarter page down: http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?topic=17737.30

Who would want to move to the desert hell hole that is Nevada?

He Who Pawns
04-30-2009, 01:27 PM
Sorry, FSP-Rebel, but IMO, NH is a disastrous state to attempt something like this. It's a tiny, frigid, jam-packed north-eastern state full of commies and socialists. The population is very dense, and land is expensive.

In Nevada, land is cheap and abundant and beautiful and populations are very sparse per square mile, meaning that people can move there and buy as much land as they want, then take over individual counties with relative ease. The climate is much better than that iceblock NH. Do you seriously think you are going to talk people like me who live on the beach in California to move to a cramped little icebox like New Hampshire? Hahaha. Good luck trying to talk people in Texas or Florida or any other number of states with beautiful climates into moving to that tiny, communist icecube.

You FSP need to wake up and smell the coffee. You chose the wrong state, period. End of story. Pack up your sh#t and head for Nevada, baby.

Let's also keep in mind that even with the massive effort we all put into NH, Dr Paul got humiliated there in the primaries. In Nevada, though, Dr Paul kicked ass!! That should tell you something right there.

dude, nevada's population is 2.6 million while new hampshire's is 1.3 million

good luck making change happen in a state that is twice as large as NH

Wyoming (population 500,000) was 2nd and you can make a really good case for it based on the population.

Wyoming is 10x better than NH, but it's also very cold compared to NV.

Take a look at the population densities in NH and NV.

http://i40.tinypic.com/jpcvpy.png

It would be very, very easy to move a bunch of people into one of these counties with extremely, ludicrously low population densities in Nevada, and completely take the county over in a matter of years. How's that working out in New Hampshire?

You FSP people really need to wake up out of your delusion and get real. The smartest people in the world are those who can recognize that they are on the wrong course, quickly change gears, and get on the right one.

How do you explain that despite a massive effort by all of us nationwide, Ron Paul got humiliated in NH, but with comparatively less effort, he kicked ass and trounced even McCain in Nevada?
