Supposedly the CFL can't endorse candidates. If this is true, how will the CFL utilize it's ground support during the 2012 election cycle? For example, let's say Jesse Ventura decides to run and he's the only viable liberty-minded candidate on the ballot. How will the CFL show support for Ventura if they aren't allowed to endorse?

They won't.

So why did Ron Paul ask for help with regards to "candidate endorsements"? He said he couldn't do it all by himself and he would need us to help him out.

Liberty PAC's that can get some money from CFL. Look at the NRA and how it funds candidates.

Also, the CFL can post blogs ABOUT candidates without necessarily endorsing them. They have done this several times already for Mark Sanford and Gary Johnson.

Members can also post things about the candidates, but the organization cannot.
