I wonder how much a beard would actually affect your campaign in modern politics, haha. Probably quite a bit.

There's a reason 99.9% of national politicians are clean shaven. I read an explanation by a psychologist once, who basically claimed that in this day and age, voters equate facial hair with "trying to hide something."
