Could we randomly call 600 numbers, and ask them who they would want to be president ourselves or would we be breaking some law?
I'm wondering if we just made it an open question like "Who do you want to win the GOP nomination for the presidency?" if this would favor Ron Paul rather than listing all of the candidates names?
My guess is that many of these people will simply pick somebody that has the most name recognition to them like "Rudy Giuliani" of course. I think that if they cannot name their candidate than they should not count in the poll.
I wouldn't do this myself but just curious if we could in case somebody here wants to. :)
