# This is a politically motivated which hunt.

partially, however a lot of this is coming from court cases that started when Bush was president

# Obama flipped-flopped on that decision in 24 hours.

more complicated than that

# Torture was supported by the congressional Democrats.

If by support you mean look the other way, then sure

# Torture was supported by the majority of Americans.

No.

# Torture produced the results and saved American lives.

No.

# It wasn’t torture.

Yes it was...

# It was perfectly legal.

No it wasn't...

# Our enemies will use the Torture Memo as a recruiting and educational tool against America for years to come.

All the more reason why we shouldn't torture in the first place

# In the future, people will be afraid to give advice to the President because of the risk of criminal charges brought by the next administration.

If by advice you mean torture people, then good.

I don't think you read through the last section of the post "my thoughts." You are in agreement with the main points, right?

I liked this line:
"If by cutting the terrorist’s genitals, poking his eyes with a screwdriver, and breaking his knees with a hummer, we could save lives, should we do it?"

It kind of reminded me of this video, except you would have to replace the Australian dudes with Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly in your mind.
