We arranged to have Judge Andrew Napolitano interviewed on a local station here in Jacksonville, FL tomorrow, September 20, 2007 at 4:30 PM EST. As you may know the judge endorsed Ron Paul for President.

The host of the show is a friend of our Meetup group and very supportive of RP. We would appreciate it if you could take the time to listen online. Out of state calls and comments would help us tremendously. David also has a toll free # where you can call.

You can listen here.http://www.thedavidallenshow.com/website/home.html

Thanks in advance.

He gave an awesome Ron Paul endorsement at the end....he said:

Ron Paul is the only candidate since Barry Goldwater campaigning to shrink the size of government

50% of military contributions go to Ron Paul

I must have only caught the last minute or two but he was giving HUGE props to the Dr. (as would be expected) and was talking about his new book "A Nation of Sheep" http://www.amazon.com/Nation-Sheep-Andrew-Napolitano/dp/1595550976

Not sure... Can active military not donate to political campaigns? I wasn't aware of that...

Judge Napolitano has a comment box on his website - it says he reads every email - so I wrote him and asked him to talk some sense into Hannity...

That's awesome. And if by "talk some sense into Hannity," you mean a steel cage match, then I'm all for it. :D

Politics makes for strange alliances. It was strange to see that Colmes treated Ron Paul much better and was much more agreeable than Hannity was to a fellow republican in the post-debates. It was the first time I even thought enough of Colmes to look him up but in my opinion we need more hosts like him.

The whole neo-con RushLimbaugh/SeanHannity/MarkLevin routine of shouting down and belittling your oponent is getting old. What happened to real discourse in this country and why is this segment so opposed to it.

Here's what I wrote:

Thank you so much for staying true to constitutional principles. Voices like yours represent the only hope that the nation has to restore our republic. Unfortunately, far too few Americans understand how important it is that we return to the constitution for our answers and respect the rule of law that has sustained us for hundreds of years.

O'Reilly seemed to respect your opinion in the past. He recently had Ron Paul on in a segment talking about Iran's 'threat' to our national security. I see a lot of posturing by the Bush Administration and media toward an aggressive conflict in Iran.

I am hoping that you will schedule some segments with O'Reilly and let him know exactly how dangerous his stance on the issue is. As a twenty-one year old man it is my great fear that my generation is absolutely unprepared for a wartime environment and will be made to serve in an expanding global conflict.

The abandonment of Habeas Corpus is worrisome, the unfortunately named Patriot Act astounding, and the ineptitude of both the Republican and Democratic Congresses to protect our civil rights and respect their moral obligation to the Constitution appalling.

And yet, there are resounding voices like yours and Dr. Paul's who give me hope that our destiny is not written in stone. Please continue your important work and let no demonizing or minimalizing deter your fight.

There are many of us who still do care.

And, the judge's reply:

Dear Greg--

Thanks for one of the most thoughtful emails I've received. You have a good understanding of human freedom.

Good luck in all you do.

apn.

i clicked on the 'comments' tab after the broadcast and left my message, went back and verified it posted, it said it was the only comment, that was last night, just now i went back and checked just to read all the reviews and now there is only 1 comment and its not mine. whats going on? seems to be some glitch but my point is david allen will now get the impression no one cared enough to leave a comment. how many of you left a comment? if more did then we need to let mr. allen know about this!
