National journal apparently did a story on "purple" states - ones where the rep is repub and they voted dem for pres, or where the rep is dem and they voted repug for prz. The former number 49 and have to watch their ass if they want to get re-elected.... The latter number much less, but also have to watch their ass - I belive the number is 14....

This is a VERY INTERESTING situation - one that could help up both now and in 2010.

Author was on Washington Journal yesterday... hyped his story. It's not worth it to me to sub to National journal to get the info. It's like maps - they showed it on TV... (C-SPAN). but no lists...

If anyone subscribes - please copy and paste.
