Its about what direction the party should head in, and "Ron Paul type libertarianism" is winning.

WTF is "cultural populism"? I still have no idea what Palin stands for, if anything.

Populism is a synonym for statism.

Did a 5th grader design that poll? Is that seriously a cross-section of the Republican Party?

voted for Ron Paul...of course.

Palin is the most popular with the republican grassroots...she is NOT popular with the GOP washington insiders...I guess that's what populist means. I'm glad RP is winning though..ssssssshhhhhh don't let this poll get out to the "team sarah" people..there are zillions of em. tones

My question is this...if dear Ron Paul doesn't run one more time, who will carry that torch for us? Is anyone stepping up to the plate? tones

At least Glenn Beck called out Huckabee for what he is. I wonder what Beck's mutual friend Chuck Norris would think of this?

-USA, USA, USA...
-A woman firing a fully automatic weapon.
-SUV's
-Deer (in her case moose) hunting garb
etc.

Cultural populism at the expense intellectual philosophy.

What the heck is "cultural populism"?

By the way, "big government conservatism" is an oxymoron.

It's sad that Sarah Palin is doing so well in this poll - high 2nd place.
