This is just background static noise. It's to be expected. They are SCARED by this tea party stuff.

And, of course, the Israeli govenment doesn't use the Star of David as its official symbol because it wants to hide behind charges of anti-Semitism whenever its questionable policies are questioned in political cartoons. Oh, no--far from it...

It looks like a Palestinian political sign. It's definitely not appropriate for the Tea Party/Fiscal Conservative movement. Not sure that it is anti-Semitic though, as it is talking about controversial government policies, not race.

Who/Where was that sign posted? They don't back up their story associating it with Tea Parties or Ron Paul?

You guys should not even give this nonsense the time of day. If a 100,000 protesters come out to decry government spending, of course the socialists at Huffpo and in the mainstream media are going to pick out one or two offensive signs. We play into their hards by even bothering with this.

They are incredibly scared all of this, but their little "racism" attacks are not working with the American public at large, who can see through the ruse. In fact, it very well might backfire on the lefties, because many Americans have family or friends who attended these events or who are sympathetic to them, and they know their family and friends are not racists, but rather, are normal people alarmed by the bankrupting of America.

Just ignore this nonsense. It's not working.

It was allegedly posted on a Campaign For Liberty website. I would think C4L people would know better.

Chairman Nehring issued the statement in response to the use of anti-Semitic graphics used on the "Bay Area Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty" website in conjunction with the April 15 TEA Party in San Mateo.

Now instead of just blaming some angry right-winger, they can point the skeletal finger at RP & Company.

I have come under attack by the California GOP for the Hillsdale Tea Party graphic. The press has asked for my response and I am now drafting one. In the mean time, I've closed our meetup to new members. Kathy

So it was posted on a MEETUP website, of someone who has affiliated their MEETUP with Campaign for Liberty.

BULL SHIT, we give Israel billions of dollars every year..

Let's see, shall we go through each line item that tax money gets spent on? That way we can argue every conceivable controversial issue at the Tea Parties?

(Of course every line item needs to be cut! The vast majority of them completely.)

It's not the Liberals, I'd say. Most of them went home, it's the divide and conquer corporate media.

Sure.. sounds good. Where is this list and the amuont we give in aid?

The first thing that showed on a Yahoo search...
http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/politics/us-foreign-aid.htm

These 2 countries receive one-third of the total
aid, the majority of which pays for armaments.
Yet, neither is a "developing" country.
One-third of ALL US AID goes to Israel and Egypt.

Looks like Israel in the number 1 spot with Egypt following in second place... this just shows the top 18.

BULL SHIT, we give Israel billions of dollars every year..

For them to carry out policies of apartheid.

It is bullshit, Israel is one of the most corrupt nation states on the face of the earth, they routinely spy on us, play both sides against the middle in multiple ME conflicts and AIPAC is one of, if not the most powerful lobbying groups in DC, before which every "front runner" in the 2008 presidential race swore fealty to the foreign policy goals of Israel.

Criticism of the nation of Israel is not anti - semitism.

Morris Dees, the ADL and the Simon Wiesenthal Center can collectively kiss my ass.

Last week's Tea Parties went forward despite the fact that there was a little bit of dispute over who owned the Tea Party movement (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/15/tea-party-origins-ron-pau_n_187184.html) -- a battle between followers of Ron Paul and a gaggle of fake grassroots organizations. Well, that conflict continues, even after the Tea Parties, and for good reason (http://www.ibabuzz.com/politics/2009/04/20/california-gop-slaps-san-mateo-tea-party-organizers/):

Between this and the Hillary thing... Hmmm...

ISTM any such "battle" was largely manufactured and manipulated with articles like this.

I look forward to seeing these signs you guys come up with

:D

I'm not sure what to think. I think it's a terrible day where we can't criticize a government for it's evil, because it is "racist" to do so. It's hard to symbolize the government of Israel as anything else though; their flag is a Star of David. I have many friends who are Jewish, I have nothing against the Jewish people. It's the Zionist government that seems bent on having some sort of unwarranted grasp of the balls of the region and the U.S. that I have something against.

And, again, you're labeled a racist to even suggesting the government of Israel is evil. It's just stupid.

How about putting every country we give money to on a sign?

Sure. Gotta be a big sign to fit all the countries in the world on it!

Unfortunately, the end result of making an issue out of which countries get how much usually just results in increasing the amount given to all of them, under the guise of giving more to some near the bottom of the list...
