this sucks. ive been wondering why the vids i usually look for and channels i usually look for have been so hard to find in the last few months. and the "fred" channel??? 2 years ago when i was looking through the top channels to see how they get so popular, this guy isnt funny at all and even back then i just didnt understand how people like this were so popular. now it make sense.

His arguments simply don't hold up when you look at the page.

Check the Index (http://www.youtube.com/). The ratings are still widely being used, both in the linked home page, and in searches. "Popular" is NOT the default home page when logged in. Even when logged out, the "Popular" page is NOT the default page shown.

In the video details, this is displayed:
