Anyone that ever thought that the internet would remain free..well....
Enjoy it while you can, watch what info you give and that which you receive and live in fear of the governments interpretation of the first amendment.
It All comes down to interpretation. That would be SC(r)OTUS.

Anyone that ever thought that the internet would remain free..well....The sad reality is that the government CAN'T control the Internet because it's sooo distributed....unless of course it colludes with the providers. Who are the providers? ATT, WorldCom, Time Warner, Comcast, Sprint etc... And we all know all of those companies operate in the complete and clear free market with no government intervention...

I could not have made it clearer myself.:)

This is the beginning of the end for the interwebz.

Actually, if you really think about it, what are the chances of the attempt of total control over the internet will be the final line drawn in the sand? I for one will not stand by and watch it happen!

The S would indicate it's being introduced in the Senate. Think I'll start with Coburn. Inhofe will be all for it, but maybe I can help him see how this would hurt him personally...

Another 400 page Bill that boils down to 3 words...

"...and other things."

Another illiterate, self-aggrandizing, orgy-attending, money-grubbing, puke-spewing, Bil-signing Congress, brought to you by the fine folks at Rape'em, Cheat'em and Crook, the electronic, no-paper-trail vote counting machine (made in China) Corporation.

I think the final line in the sand has already been drawn, a few times. But with so many armchair activists sitting inside waiting for the next infringement on our inalienable rights we have allowed them to keep pushing our line back forcing us to retreat to the internet. It's all we have that doesn't require a permit! If they take the interwebz we will have NO line of defense left.

Wake up America, we ARE in a corner. Our backs ARE against the wall. Please look up from your screen and look around, we need you. NOW.
