We need to contact Members of the "Iraq Veterans Against the War" and let them know that Ron Paul is the only candidate who wants the soldiers to come home immediately.

I am going to be working on this, but everyone's input and interest in the Iraq Veterans could be quite helpful!

We should also seek out other anti-war groups.

I went to their site yesterday on a whim. Nice site. Good idea... perhaps we can get a banner ad over there..

There are many Ron Paul supporters in the ranks of the VFP and IVAW...Adam Kokesh and myself
included.

I have an issue with leader at MFSO organization of Orange County in California. They seem to think that Obama will win and they are planning to attend the Convention in Denver and to stress an issue that Obama must bring their military families home now. They do not seem to grasp the concept about our movement. I do not think they know a thing about how delegates work and that McCain does not have half of pledged delegates. I need someone with strong knowledge of Ron Paul's issues and the purpose of CFL, contacts them... So they can come to St. Paul instead! I have their phone number. Thank you.

Perhaps not a good idea to become to closely associated with the IVAW for this reason:
In looking deeper into the VAIW website's event page I found some incriminating information:

Iraq Veterans Veterans Against the War calls on all veterans and peace organizations to connect the issues by mobilizing to stand in solidarity with workers organizing to protect their labor rights.

- Wisconsin IVAW http://www.ivaw.org/events

here is a partial list of supporters for Veterans Against Foreign Wars...a very incriminating list indeed

David McReynolds, Socialist Party USA*

Nic Abramson, U.S. Boat to Gaza

Medea Benjamin, cofounder, Code Pink*

Toby Blome, activist, Bay Area Code Pink

Thomas John Gumbleton, retired Roman Catholic Bishop (interesting)

Kathy Hass, activist, Central Florida Code Pink

Susan Harman, Progressive Democrats of America*, Code Pink*

Leslie Harris, activist, Code Pink Greater Dallas*

Martha Hennessy, Catholic Worker (some look rather innocent...perhaps not aware of who they are in bed with.

Rabbi Michael Lerner, Tikkun/Network of Spiritual Progressives

David McReynolds, Socialist Party USA*

Gael Murphy, co-chair, Legislative Working Group, United for Peace and Justice*, co-founder, Code Pink*

Katie Robbins, national organizer, Healthcare-NOW!

The list goes on, but you get the idea. Association with Code Pink and the Socialist Party could backfire on us.

Its disappointing to see IVAW weaken its moral high ground by taking a side in that labor issue, but I'm not sure how implicated IVAW is by noting it is supported by that "incriminating" list of individuals. There are some extreme liberals and socialists who for their own philosophical reasons find common ground with principled conservatives and libertarians who oppose unjust and unconstitutional wars. What is "incriminating" about that list is that many of them are almost militant left-wingers .... but I don't see how that makes IVAW guilty by association...
Help me out here.
