Just got sent this:

Here's a link to a new trailer for the award-winning documentary New World Order, which premieres on IFC on April 21 and will be available on demand on April 16: http://www.ifc.com/new-world-order/video.php

New World follows Alex Jones, celebrity radio host and four other conspiracy theorists who are out to prove that ‘global elitists’ are responsible for catastrophic tragedies, including the 9/11 Attacks (among others).

Also making a cameo is Daniel Sunjata, real-life conspiracy theorist and actor (Franco) on "Rescue Me," whose character this season believes in a conspiracy behind the 9/11 attacks. Here's the clip: http://www.ifc.com/videos/new-world-order-clip-13.php

Check out the film's page on IFC.com for more info and clips: http://www.ifc.com/videos/new-world-order

Hope you can post about NWO and link or embed one of the video clips. Thanks for taking a look.

Why not? It is an independent film.

I watched "This Revolution" on there a couple weekends back. It was about the protests at the 2004 RNC, a fictional documentary. Many good points were made, even though it was clearly a leftist perspective (anti-war and anti-business).

Made think of why the protests were that much smaller at this years RNC:

Dissent from 04 were supporting Obama
Minneapolis is much less dense and accessible than NYC
Free Speech Zones made protesters into zoo animals
Provocateurs didn't have any riotous crowds to ignite

Overall I'd give the movie a 3/4: good for an independent flick done on the cheap, limited in depth of coverage of the subject matter.

I'd like to see more of that type of movie on IFC though - now is the time of our dissent, and it plays better than decoupled from reality pop art character studies as they usually run.

I totally agree. The RNC was so controlled it wasn't funny--but so was the DNC in Boston. A broken clock is right twice a day. I like to look at things from all perspectives. It also helps you pick out the sheer hypocrisy too. :D

Best video on the RNC 08 was Terrorizing Dissent (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNDQmm_TEMw). Warning, Not for the faint of heart.

I'm only 5 minutes in, and it seems like a lame docu with a liberal / hibby agenda.

I might be wrong, but that's the vibe i'm getting from it. Is this seriously worth watching? Im not sure if i feel like watching any more of these socialists blaming capitalism for everything.

NO, you have to get further into it, its disgusting and VIOLENT. 5 mins in aint enough time. I wouldn't put liberal propaganda bullshit on my main page. Agreed, it starts a little slow. 7 - 8 mins in is where it starts popping.

VERY MINOR SPOILERS:

I just got done watching the film. It was very nicely put together. I mean, top notch documentary. I found myself rooting for them like a sports team by the end of it. Hopefully people will see this and wake up to the fact or at least it may lead them to some research on the matter. One issue though, is the focus on 9/11. I really wish they focused on the Federal Reserve and the system on which the NWO works. Alex Jones comes off as a very passionate and caring dude with a heavy load of anger. And the ending is actually a bit sad. No bias spin. Straight up documentary. 2 thumbs up.
