I like doing this, and I also like converting liberals with arguments about socialism. Not whether socialism should exist, but that state-level socialism is much, much better than federal level socialism. For a kicker, I mention that New Jersey is the biggest 'donor state' on the Federal level and that Mississippi receives the most largesse from Washington, D.C. If Mississippi doesn't want socialism, why would New Jersey keep sending them money? They could obviously run a better socialist state on their own...

We need to work with broader groups that support a specific issue like anti war activists to expand our tent. Advocating against state power even on one issue is a win.
