I added (or tried to add) the following:

Theft is a Bipartisan Effort

Geithner = Paulson

The Neocons Taketh, and the Neolibs Taketh Too

I think we'll soon find out whether or not this site is moderated by neocons. Just watch to see if any of these shows up.

not there yet.. and I haven't seen many signs in photos of the Tea Parties that point out that Obama isn't the only problem. There are a BUNCH of Republicans in Congress who helped create the mess we're in and voted with him in the past (Stimulus of '08, TARP, etc..).

I didn't see 1 or 3 on the list.

"Geithner = Paulson" was voted down to -7 though. Which puts it below off-topic nonsense like a sign about political prisoners in Cuba. Yeah, I smell neocons at work.

Neocons are definitely at work. Over at the 911 project site its disgusting seeing that they are using this event as an agenda to support Huckabee and other Neocons in my state to give them more voice. These people don't want freedom, they want Disneyland!

I have a question. Why is it that the Digg crowd and others keep making fun of the tea party people for the use of the words "teabag" and "tea-bagging?" I understand the slang definition well and to me it still sounds plenty appropriate for the situation.

Next time some idiot says "hehe they said tea-bagging, lolol they dun no wat it means" I want to tell them "No, I know damned well what it means, and I mean exactly what it says. 'Hey Congress, hey Obama, hey Repubs and Dems: SUCK MY NUTS, BITCHES!'"

It would be great to have big pics of Paulson, Geithner, Hank Greenberg, Jamie Dimon, Dick Fuld, Alan Greenspan, Bernanke, etc., photoshopped to look like Pirates.

Captioned with things like "Stop the Pirates", "Prosecute the Pirates", "The Real Pirates", etc.

I searched the list, and could find no mention of any GOP politicians. Not Palin, Guiliani, Romney, Huckabee or Paul. That may be something they are "moderating" so they can keep their own message on their page. Nonetheless, I submitted a few:

Ron Paul: Tea Partying Since 2007
Central Planning: Destroying human prosperity since 4000BC
Obama Changed Nothing - Still spending like a Drunken Air Reservist
The only Fair Tax is No Tax
D.C. is growing while America suffers

Went back and added:

Don't Toss Tea - You'll only encourage subsidies!
Toss Tobacco To Topple Taxes
Repeal the 16th Amendment!
39% or 35%, its still theft!
Pirates at least have to work to extract booty

Thats what pisses me off. The Republican's hijacked this grass roots movement and tried to make it their own. People are tired of government spending by republicans and Dems.

I really dont understand how the Republicans party can even claim to be the the party of small government and then they claim an anti-tax movement for themselves?!

Unfortunately I didn't have a sign at the tea party because I walked over from work but I came up with a one that would've been pretty funny while I was there.

"Bush and Obama are jerks."

By the way, I'd say we had close to 1000 at the Knoxville tea party.

Yes, the tea party here in Columbia was partially a Neocon nightmare. Had everything to Christian Nation people to Fair Tax. One of the speakers even started into how Gods eye was printed on the back of a dollar bill and some other BS. His speach was pretty good up until then. I saw a few End the Fed signs which made me feel really good. I am glad that there WAS a CFL tent set up giving out priceless information about the Fed. These guys were awesome, AND they were teaching. Not Preaching.

HIJACKING?! In THIS day and age? Say it ain't SOOOO. ;)

If Libertarians can't win until everyone plays fair, Libertarians can't win.

Me, I'd like to see Libertarians put Ron Paul on a back burner, JUST LIKE RON PAUL PUT THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY ON A BACK BURNER and, to mix metaphors, start banging the drum for the ouster of the Republican Old Guard. Talk about toxic assets.

Instead of seeming to criticize or reject every convert, Libertarians can WELCOME Republicans. Republicanism is a good thing. But you gotchyer good republicans and you gotchyer wicked republicans. Power corrupts.

Clean house. Rinse and repeat.

At this stage of the un-fun game, it is the PEOPLE who are shirking their responsibilities. It is the Bad Guys who are living up to their natures.
